Description: Macadamia Oil is a fantastic regenerative oil. It is high in mono-unsaturated fatty acids, contains palmitoleic acid (promotes young soft skin), as well as omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. It has been successfully used to help heal scars and sunburns and is considered very safe with uses in facial and baby products.
Color: Pale yellow to golden yellow liquid. Aromatic Description: Macadamia Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.
Common Uses: The stability of Macadamia nut oil makes it an ideal ingredient for an array of cosmetic applications including soaps, massage oil, balms, lotions and creams. This oil is known to be a protective and reasonably quick absorption rate. Some believe this oil to act in a similar way as does the human sebum, which naturally protects and lubricates the skin. This oils regenerative properties make it a quality ingredient for products targeting damaged skin such as sun burns, scars, minor wounds and other irritations.
