Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a vine originating from the Amazonian rainforest. The name comes from its prickles that resemble claws of a wild cat. It has been scientifically proven that the herb owes its reputation to the exclusive immune stimulant the high content of alkaloids, tannins and phytochemicals. As an antioxidant it helps the body get rid of harmful free radicals. Cat's claw inhibits viral and inflammatory processes in the body - recommended for arthritis, rheumatism and enlarged lymph nodes. Directions: 1 to 3 g cat's claw powder (1/3 to 1 level teaspoon ) is placed in 250 ml of water. Boil for 10-15 min. Cool and strain.
